Purple Haze

• Hook : Daiichi 1120 Sizes 12-6
• Thread : Black 8/0 Uni
• Head : Silver Bead Sizes 5/32-1/8
• Thorax : Purple Holographic Ice Dub
• Hackle : Purple Crystal Trilobal Hackle
• Body : Shrimp Pink Antron Dubbing
• Back : Mirage flash Cut Into Small Strip
• Rib : Small-Med. Amber Wire

Once the bead is on the hook tie in the amber wire

Wrap the thread as you hold the wire until it is past the bend in the hook as seen it pic.

Tie in the strip of Mirage Flash where you ended the wire. 

Add dubbing to your thread and start dubbing the body making sure you have a tapered body.

End the dubbing before getting to the bead leaving room for the hackle and thorax.

Fold the Mirage Flash forward and tie off making sure you keep it on the top of the fly.

Cut off the excess flash material.

Wrap the wire forward using even wraps and tie off.

Cut off excess wire.

Tie in Trilobal hackle.

As you make your wraps make sure you stroke the fibers back .

Tie off and cut off the excess.

While pulling back on the hackle fibers add the purple holographic dubbing.

After the dubbing is on tie off the thread with a whip finish and cut thread.

Trim off some of the longer pieces of the hackle.

Now you have the finished Purple Haze.
